When the praises about the Denver Biscuit Company started pouring in, I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical. But then, the day came to venture to the old Steak n’ Shake location and try it for myself. With the first bite, all doubts vanished, and I became an instant believer.
Our server, Stephanie, was nothing short of helpful. For my maiden visit, I sought a classic dish with a spicy twist. Stephanie’s suggestion of the Franklin sandwich with a Nashville-hot chicken swap was nothing short of perfection. The mushroom gravy had me in its spell, and the flavor combination in this sandwich could conquer even the most formidable of appetites.
Now, I typically shy away from swine, but the bacon at Denver Biscuit Company was an exception that even Moses would have deemed a blessing. In fact, it’s safe to say that it was the greatest bacon I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m no stranger to bacon, considering my geriatric millennial status.
So, with my tastebuds in blissful awe, I wholeheartedly join Moses in highly recommending the Denver Biscuit Company. The flavors you’ll discover here are nothing short of revelatory, and every bite is a revelation in itself.
