On a Friday morning, I had the pleasure of stepping into the Italian Bakery & Deli for the first time, and let me tell you, I was in for a delightful treat. Although the pastry selection wasn’t vast, the ones they had left were nothing short of fantastic. We opted for the peach and chocolate pastries, and they were a heavenly blend of perfect texture, flavor, and fluffiness.
To accompany our delectable treats, we ordered a strong Americano (Is there any other version, really?). Luckily my heart was strong enough to endure the dose of caffeine but my palette needed some added milk. Thankfully, Luca, who is very warm and enthusiastic, came to the rescue and graciously offered me some steamed milk.
